03/18: This past week a snowstorm blew in from the coast, bringing with it high wind speeds and plenty of automobile accidents. Many schools in the neighboring Nevada County closed on March 14, not including Grass Valley. Kelly High School stayed open, though reportedly many students, especially those with longer commutes, were not present.
